the roaring run is heather myers barker's studio located in central virginia. Founded in 2018, heather followed her dream to start a business that combines knitting, sustainable living and local community. it brings her joy and meaning to connect with others through fiber.

she shows and sells her work online as well as at seasonal local markets and galleries. she aims to promote our regional watersheds, fibersheds and cruelty-free wool through her work.

heather lives with her husband and twin siamese cats in richmond, va. she is a steward of the park system and enjoys volunteering as a master gardener to help new gardeners grow.
