how long does it take my order to ship?
anything that is "ready made" will ship within 3-5 business days from the time you place the order. i do my best to get orders out as soon as possible.
for “made to order” items, my average turnaround time for shipping nets 5-10 business days for small items and around 6-8 weeks for larger items like blankets or detail intensive work like punch needle wall art. depending on items size, material availability, and my capacity, you can expect to see this range fluctuate. it's an art and a science to provide these estimations. please refer to each product description.
the roaring run is not responsible for any packages that are lost or stolen - you must contact shipping carrier to handle this.
do you ship internationally?
the roaring run does not offer international shipping at this time.
can i return or exchange something?
i want you to love your handmade pieces. if that's not the case, please check the product description for the return policy.
most** items are eligible to be returned up to 7 days after the order has been delivered as long as it is unworn, unwashed & unused— and in its original packaging. shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. you are encouraged to get a tracking number. if you're returning a defective item or we shipped you an item you did not order, the roaring run will pay the return-shipping costs.
to begin the return process - email heather@theroaringrun.com and await a response from the roaring run.
please repack the product in original packaging materials—unless unsuitable for a safe return. for your protection, consider insuring the package for the full purchase amount, as you are responsible for any damages that occur in return transit.
the roaring run has the right to deny credit for pieces that do not meet the requirements of our return policy. please handle pieces with care.
credits are refunded after the item is received and they have inspected for damage. typically, refunds are reflected 3-5 business days after receipt. refunded credits do not include shipping costs. you will be notified via email once the return has been reviewed and inspected.
** the roaring run does not accept returns on any sale items, wash cloths, towels or hygiene-related products, custom, or made to order items. These items are final sale. email heather@theroaringrun.com
what is something arrives damaged?
please inspect your order upon receiving and contact us within 7 days if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. from there the roaring run can evaluate the issue and make it right.
damages, and other issues will not be considered outside of the 7-day period.
**please note: my work includes hand spun, hand dyed and hand assembled products that use small batch processes. (and for naturally grown yarns, colors are not from dyed at all—it comes from the source). these materials are sourced from regional business near the roaring run or intentionally from makers or farmers outside of virginia. color variations, discoloration or small stains and wear on vintage materials are to be expected. we do not accept returns due to minor handmade inconsistencies or wear of vintage material. this is a part of the finished work.**
do you offer repairs or alterations?
repairs are considered on a case-by-case basis and the cost will be determined upon return. customer is responsible for all shipping.
